The single greatest and rarest Easter Holiday post card I\'ve ever listed! Card is dated 1899, mailed in Germany and is in better than average condition.
It\'s hard for me to understand the technology needed to create a hold-to-light (HTL) post card, let alone one printed well over 100 years ago.
Card shows a rabbit holding an egg with one egg just hatched on the ground with baby chicks around. \"Frohliche Ostern\". When held to a light you can see an angel using a rope to ring a bell. There\'s a beam of light from the bell to the scene below. The windows of the steeple light up. The HTL angel and bell are in the upper right corner! Printed there is \"Meteor D.R.G.M 88690\"

Mint-Perfect as printedand rare in this condition. Excellent-No bends or creases or rounded corners or other noticeable damage. Average-Blunt or rounded corners, noticeable small crease or postal ink on front. Great majority of cards fit here. Fair-Soiling, stains, creases, lots of postal ink, needs to be hard to find before buying here. Poor-Tears, creases, image greatly affected--barely a card anymore!
