This coinhas been finished to the highest standard: firstly plated in a thick andluxurious layer of 24KT gold, an expert craftsman has meticulously detailed the black using a deep black ink, before hand-engraving over the lettering to reveal the silver underneath. BOTH sides have been expertly plated and detailed.

Supplied in an airtight display plaque with presentation box and Certificate of Authenticity.

Struck from 1 oz silver .999, the coin is FULLY plated 24KT gold and detailed with a deep black ink & hand-engraving. The UK silver Britannia coin is genuine legal tender struck by the British mint; the design has been carried out by a private mint in the UK.

About the Silver Britannia:

In 2017, The Royal Mint commemorates the 30th year since the Britannia bullion design was first released. Sculptor Philip Nathan, the designer of the first Britannia bullion in 1987, envisaged her as a classic and evolving icon. In this classic design she stands firm against a powerful gale which whips around her shield, Corinthian helmet and olive branch. The 2017 design also features a speckled radial sunburst at her back.
