Offered here is a \"Swiss Alpine\" serving bowls measuring 9\" in diameter and 2\" tall. Produced by Marcrest in the early 1960s, this creamy white, coupe-shaped bowl has a narrow aqua band on the rim and a simple, geometric design of aqua, dark blue, and lime green fir trees in the center.On its underside is a dark green ink stamp that reads:

Originally part of a large collection of \"Swiss Alpine\" dinnerware found at an area estate sale, this vintage bowl is in excellent condition, showing little wear. Close inspection revealed clean, unstained, very hard to see, crazing (a common characteristic of this dinnerware). Otherwise, this bowl has a smooth and glossy finish, with a few scratches, but no nicks, chips, cracks, age spots, or stains. The aqua band on its rim is complete, and the geometric design richly colored and unmarred. Although exceptionally clean when found, this bowl has been carefully hand washed and towel dried, then safely stored in our pet-free, smoke-free home, and will arrive ready to use.

To help ensure their safe arrival, this vintage bowl will be swaddled in bubble wrap, and packed in a snug-fitting, custom made box. Then, the boxed bowl will be placed in a sturdy shipping carton lined with sheets of 5/8\" Styrofoam.
You will pay only the actual cost of shipping. This serving bowl weighs exactly 1 pounds. Packing material will likely increase shipping weight to the 2-3 pound range.
