You can tell by the pictures these bars have mirror proof finishes. Any specks you see are on the plastic airtight holders and NOT on the bars. The bars are fresh from the mint and have never been taken out of the plastic holders. Every bar comes with it's own plastic holder. Although the pictures show the mirror proof fields of these bars the beautiful yellow gold luster of the bars is washed out by the pictures. They are gorgeous.

These bars are 50mm x 28mm x 3mm. The core metal is copper which is electroplated in pure gold. The amount of actual gold applied to the bars surface during the electroplating process is small. These are bought more for their symbolic look and beauty than for their gold content although the price of these bars has increased because of the core metal and gold metals spot price has appreciated some people have bought these as an investment had have done well with them.
