DESCRIPTION:
This sale is fora German bisque head girl doll, 1910+ . Incised on the back of head is \"13/0\". I do not knowthe past history of this doll but will try to describe the best I can. Measures 10\" tall being a bisque socket head with crude papier-mache wood body being jointed at the shoulders and legs. She has all molded fingers intact, body is all there. Body shows some overall wear for being 100 years old. This doll has a \"sweet\" little face with open and close brown glass sleepy eyes that work fine, retains wax on eye lids, painted lashes around the eyes, single stroke brown brows, a little paint wear on tip of nose, she has open mouth with upper teeth and faint dimple in her chin. Some overall wear on bisque areas but nothing terrible. I flashed around this bisque head and do not see any cracks or hairlines. I will stuff her head with tissue for safety of the glass sleepy eyes on rocker. Brunette wig is glued on a pate that slips over her head. Wears vintage openwork two piece white dress, one piece undies, stockings and shoes. I have taken plenty of photos, please look at my photos to serve as part of this description.
