This date code system is the most common one found and lasted until 2006.

In 2007, Louis Vuitton revamped their date code system once again. While they kept the same 2 letters to indicate the country of origin, the first and third digits no longer represent the month, but instead the week of the year. The second and fourth digits still represented the year (WYWY).\"
