100 Year Old Railroad RR Wall Clock with Norfolk Western Face - Seth Thomas:

This offering is fora clock with Seth Thomas brass works that is signed ST. It has just been cleaned and oiled and keeps good time. This clock that was built around 1900. Clock is about 24 inches tall, 16 inches wide, and 4&1/2 inches thick. Case is nice dark oak with no damage that I see with original finish. Face has no peeling or flaking. Face is metal and maybe has beenrefurbishedsometime over the years. Face is kind of dirty looking, probably from everyone smoking back in the day or being in a facility with a coal fired potbelly stove. Face says N&W (Norfolk & Western). This was also called the short drop octagon clock and this type was used in many rail facilities. I do not know history on this clock and cannot verify that it was ever hung in a rail facility. 8 day key wind. If you are a collector ofrailroad memorabilia, this would really set off your collection. Would look really great in your train room, office, or man cave. I have sold many old clocks on and this is really one of the nicer ones. There will be a $37 handling charge to cover insurance and a correct size box and packing supplies so this clock arrives in a safe manner. This chargewill show up in the shipping charges. Due to size and weight, this will ship UPS and they do not deliver to a PO box.
