This squadron was activated on 1 February 1984 at

Kingsley Field, Klamath Falls, Oregon under the

142nd Fighter Group

The unit was part of the Oregon Air National Guard

The squadron is a training squadron for Air Guard pilots

It started out with McDonnell F-4C Phantom II aircraft

and converted in the fall of 1988 to F-16A and B types

The squadron was inactivated on 15 March 1992 when

it was redesignated as the 114th Fighter Squadron

This very nice, colorful, and rare patch was made in 1985
