This item consists of an original matching set of six (although the photo displays a greater number) beautiful estate sterling silver FRENCH BLUNT LUNCHEON or DINNER KNIVES by WHITING in the handsome \"KING EDWARD\" pattern, first issued in 1901. These pieces are in great estate condition....I see no chipping on the blades; they measure 8 7/8\" long are monogrammed with an Old English style \"C\". Each of the handles of this set displays the old Whiting lion, the patent date of PAT AP 23, 1901, and \'sterling\'. I have not polished these knives as many buyers prefer to do that themselves. Shipping is via US Priority Mail and includes full insurance.
