12 Lovely, Antique, GreenIntaglio Czech Glass Place Card / Menu Holders with Sterling Silver Bases, Madein Austria

12 stunning antique place card or menu holders with SterlingSilver bases and Green Czech Glass adornment, intaglio with a Greek goddess,Aphrodite perhaps.The green glass glows, almost on it’s own. They are about 2.5” tall.

Although probably not original to the set, these came in abox marked “Friedlander and Son, Diamond Merchants”, and the date 1886, as theestablishment date. There was more writing, but the box was a falling and thewriting barely legible. I mention thisbecause I do not know the exact age of these beautiful items, but they are old.

I included a picture of what they looked like when I gotthem. I spent time hand polishing the silver with a silver cloth, and washedthe glass with gentle, soapy water. It paid off!
