This is an exceptional quality Meiji period Satsuma charger, signed Meizan Hodoa. Measuring 12\" diameter.
It is crazed & stained on the back with stain/wear from an old wire frame that allowed the charger to be wall mounted. What looks like a crack to the rim on the back of the plate is a stain from the wire.
