This exquisite dining room suite is truly a work of art, a family heirloom. The amount of ornate hand carvings in this piece, the varying warm tones of mahogany wood and the rich finish make this a one-of-a-kind set. This set was originally purchased with the intent to have the chairs recovered in leather and a granite or marble top cut for the table top.Need to sell, moving overseas - Make an offer! The museum quality furniture has dovetail drawers with rarely seen dust boards. The highly carved legs, bun feet with barley twist back legs and stretchers give this furniture beauty but also stability and strength. The angled side panels, drawer fronts, legs, frieze and pierced cornice are carved with beautifully ornate details. The furniture is tastefully embellished with Acanthus leaf scrolls, various foliage, fruit filled urns and crest like accents.

This set truly makes a statement and offers plenty of storage. The raised hutch also has a functioning lock with key The antique furniture has typical imperfections for it\'s age. Some wood shrinkage and wear on legs, shown in photo. Buffet top has small indent and drawers have minor veneer damage shown in photo. Top surface of server has slight veneer imperfections.
