This Catholic chalkware features Saint Joseph carrying the sleeping Christ Child who is holding a cross close to His heart. Saint Joseph has a branch of white lilies to symbolize his purity and devotion. Saint Joseph is the Patron Saint ofthe Catholic Church, unborn children, fathers, immigrants, workers, against doubt and hesitation and of a happy death. His feast day is March 19th.
This statue is made of chalk/plaster and hand painted in full color with gold trim. It stands 12\" tall. There are no fissures, no chips, no cracks. It is in Mint condition. Made in Italy. Housed in original cardboard box.Each piece is individually hand painted, so please expect some minor variation from photos.
