Probably had more use as a Moonshine Jug – but let’s say it’s a Whiskey Jug. Wish it could talk so we would really know what experiences it had.

Let me make up one, “Mountain Moonshiners would give one of these jugs for their best customers. Of course they couldn’t give out too many as it might make the Revenuers suspicious and no one wanted that”.

Or “Whenever word spread that the Revenuers were near – they would bury their Moonshine Jugs. Being made of porcelain and Salt Glazed Stoneware to help insulate their moonshine underground”.

Maybe it’s true and imagine the fun you can have spinning “yarns” about this Jug.

It is in Good Age-Appropriate Condition. Please see photos for signs of it’s history as it has chips and dings.
