DESCRIPTION:
UP FOR ADOPTION here is an \"adorable\" German antique character baby doll. Incised on the back of her bisque head is \"P.M. 914, Germany, 2\". Reference tells me baby was made in 1908+ Germany by Porzellanfabrik Mengergereuth. Doll measures about 12\" tall being a bisque socket head on jointed composition baby doll body with all fingers and toes intact. I see re-paint on the fingers so I can not tell if any restoration were made on the fingers. Body shows lots of wear, scuff on tip of the big toes, re-paint with restoration throughout body areas and torso, see photos please. I had her re-strung\" and she displays just fine. Great little character face with open and close blue glass sleepy eyes that work fine, painted lashes around the eyes, brown brows, she has open mouth with two upper teeth. A little double baby chin accents her overall charm, rosy blush on her face. I flashed inside this bisque head and see plaster cement & glue that was used to secure the sleepy eyes on rocker as most doll people do, I do not see any cracks or hairlines. Her newer vintage replacement blonde wig is charming and slips nicely over her head, there is no longer a pate. Wears vintage pink party dress, one piece undies, no stockings and shoes. Dress is clean with snaps down the back. This German baby doll will surely \"put a smile on your face\". I have taken plenty of photos.
