Up for sale is a very nice 126 yrs old Elgin pocket watch in an Illinois Watch Company case (case model Spartan), which has virtually no wear. The watch has a good feel in the hand and great eye appeal. A sunken white dial with blued hands and roman numerals. The movement is a nickel finish with great detail. All done with great craftsmanship in the late 1800\'s. The crystal does appear to be glass. The watch does not currently run, but would be a great addition to a collection, either as is or with a repair. A couple of very faint hairlines on the dial, barely noticeable both in the pictures and in person. Own a piece of history.
