SF35 The SF35 is a larger 8 1/4 inch trafficator. It is also used in the land-rover SE62 exterior box. It is very similar and directly interchangeable as a whole unit with Jaguar SF55. (there is no real difference other than lamp +ve delivery method)

special notes. This is an SF35 that also includes VW\'s idea of a switched-earth-return. It is called an SF43 factory-special and is just an SF35 but with this extra feature which you can choose to use or ignore. To read about this feature, see below in light green

Special feature of this SF35. This SF35 trafficator has an input that is physically switched to earth inside the trafficator, ONLY when the trafficator arm is actually up. So (for example) you run 12v to a light or buzzer, then take the other side to the trafficator special-input. When the trafficator went up in the usual (separate circuit) way, it would switch this input to earth and the light/buzzer would come on. It only actuates when the arm is actually up... if you turned your indicator switch and the traff was faulty, there would be no buzzer. VW used this idea too. You can ignore this completely and it is just a normal SF35. I have marked this terminal with a white tie... and it is switched to trafficator-body-earth.
