This sale is for 13 vintage boxes of Airfix soldiers, all from the 1970\'s. There are 2 boxes of W.W. I soldiers, 10 boxes of W.W. II soldiers and 1 box of Civil War soldiers. The soldiers in 9 of the boxes has been very nicely painted. The other soldiers are unpainted. I counted all of the soldiers within the boxes and will list the number of soldiers included in each box. The following boxes are included: W.W. I British Infantry (1974) 34 painted soldiers (out of 48 originally); W.W. I German Infantry(1974) 42 painted soldiers (out of 48 originally); W.W. II U.S. Marines (1975) 41 painted soldiers (out of 46 originally); W.W. II British Commandos (1977) 35 unpainted soldiers (out of 38 originally); W.W. II Japanese Infantry (1975) 44 painted soldiers (out of 48 originally); W.W. II German Infantry (1975) 46 unpainted soldiers (out of 48 originally); W.W. II Gurkas (1975) 48 unpainted soldiers (out of 48 originally); W.W. II German Paratroopers (1975) 46 painted soldiers (out of 46 originally); W.W. II Afrika Corps (1975) 48 painted soldiers (out of 48 originally); W.W. II British Infantry (1975) 48 painted soldiers (out of 48 originally); W.W. II German Mountain Troops (1975) 36 painted soldiers (out of 63 originally); W.W. II Russian Infantry (1975) 34 painted soldiers (out of 48 originally); American Civil War Artillery (1975) 22 unpainted pieces (out of 33 originally). For the most part, I believe that the soldiers included within the boxes are in the correct boxes, however, the German Mountain Troops also has some horses included in the box which I do not believe were original to the set.
