Q:Hi Friend, this might test 14kt. it\'s not solid gold though, the scales are wrapped, thin layer over stainless steel, so your weight is way off, very thin 14kt gold about 1/20 gold. hope this helps.Dec-27-14A:Hello, thank you for taking the time to give me your input. I have been handling gold and knives for over 25 years. The handle has a thick layer of solid gold over the steel handles. This is not the wrap type. Although it is hard to tell exactly how much gold is there I estimate 15 grams of solid 14k - 16k gold. If the person who wins this knife feels they did not get a good deal can return it for a full refund including shipping both ways. I will add more clear pictures so there is no confusion.
