She has a delightful bisque socket headon a fully jointed early Kestnercomposition and wood body with well shaped parts and loose shoulderballs. Beautiful original sparkling brown sleep eyes with painted upper and lowerlashes, multi stroke stacked earlybrows, open mouth with four “square cut” upper teeth, original antiqueblond mohair wig over original plaster pate.
Dressed in a simple muslinantique creamcotton full slip, antique pantaloons, antique baby bonnet with net and pinkinsertion ribbon, replaced lacy stockings and antique pink oilcloth high buttonboots (some wear) and all finished off with a sweet gold front bar pin with engraved design.

CONDITION: Excellent. Very beautiful glowing mint bisque with pleasant pale color, finely paintedfeatures, well modeled face with somewhat character expression and desirablesquare cut teeth (I could write a sonnet to her mouth alone!) There is a very slight surface white speck bythe lower outside corner of her left eye.The early body is in really excellent condition with shiny originalfinish and hardly any age wear. Adesirable early Kestner for the connoisseur!! Don\'t hold your breath until youfind another early Kestnerof this caliber again!
