DESCRIPTION:
We are pleased to offer you this lovely antique German DOLLY FACE girl doll. Incised on the back of her bisque head is \"Made in Germany, Floradora, A 1 M\".Reference attributes to 1910 Germany by Armand Marseille. This doll is a bisque socket head onwooden composition jointed body.Body shows some re-paint, a few scuffs, overall wear for being 100 or so years old but together intact. Her left hand is \"missing\" the center finger. Fingers are outlined in red for that realistic look. Measures just under 16\" tall she has a \"sweet\" dolly facewith \"fixed\" open brown glass eyes, painted straight lashes below the eyes, molded feathered brown brows, she has open mouth with upper teeth, there is a faint little dimple in her chin. Lovely rose color blush on her face. Inside the head is plaster cement that was used to secure the eyes remain fixed open all the time. Her long brunette human hair wig has center part and slips over a pate on her head. Doll wears vintage hand made dress with knit, lace, and ribbon accents that buttons down the back. There is a full slip, pantaloons, and shoes. I believe this dress was made especially for this doll. Clothing shows a little melting on the overlay, nothing too terrible but need to mention.
