This is a multi-veneer art deco waterfall style cedar chest that dates from the 1940s. The chest has been run through the restoration shop, re-sprayed on the outside, and the lock has been removed for the sake of safety. It has a rolled front with straight grain walnut veneer top, with an edge carved molding. On the front is where the company got really creative, with a nice assortment of matching veneers, including zebra wood, straight grain mahogany, maple, burl walnut and a cross-grain ebony mahogany. It’s all finished off with a carved footed cutout base. The overall size is 44 inches wide, 19 inches deep, and 22.5 inches tall.
