1746 very rare set of 3 Georgian George 11 three pronged dessert forks:

This is a rare set of 3 Georgian dessert forks made in London in 1746 by James Wilks. 2 are in very good condition 1 has had a repair across the handle, still fine to use. They all have good makers mark, the two good ones have rubbed set of hallmarks but I can make out the date letter on one for 1746. They all have good tines and a shell decoration on the heal, they all have a period bird crest. Three pronged forks are rare and dessert forks are even rarer.
A fine set of 18th century forks.
