1776 Half Dollar - FUGIO Type A - February 1776 - Continental Currency
Dated February 1776, a few months before the Declaration of Independence was signed.The sundial with the FUGIO legend and \"MIND YOUR BUSINESS\" motto appear on the front. The back shows thirteen linked rings representing the original 13 colonies and the legends \"WE ARE ONE\" and \"AMERICAN CONGRESS\".The currency designs were created by Benjamin Franklin.

This currency contains blue fibers and mica flakes for authenticity.
Condition: creasing from folding, Signature not readable, Number faded (possibly number 76,016), view pictures for condition.
