Rare historic document, inlaid, printed and handwritten. No. 295, Boston June 27, 1780. I promise to pay to Mr. Thomas Boutineau...Thirty Pounds out of the next Tax, with Interest until paid; so much he lends as Part of Two Hundred Thousand Pounds, voted the 9th and 14th...for the sole Purpose of carrying on the War. Signed David Jeffries Town-Treasurer. One very small tear at bottom, quarter of an inch.
