Up for sale is a really sharp example of the 1787 New Jersey copper cent graded by NGC XF details with Environmental damage. The coin is one of 140 different varieties that exist and this one has the shield outlined. This coin shows a great deal of original detail but must have been under ground due to the slight discoloring caused by Environmental damage but no signs or mention of porosity which would have been noted. This is a true gem and rarely seen in a higher circulated grade(XF). This is a great addition to any early American coin collection and certified by NGC. See pictures. Thank you.
