Offering a wonderful early colonial silhouette of a gentleman.

Measures 4.5\" wide x almost 5\" tall.

Information/heritage is written on the back. It reads the following:

\" Peter Cooper. Came over in 1625 in the \"Susan & Ellen\", aged 28. Settled in Rowdy Massachusetts. Born 1607. Died June 15, 1667.\"

Obviously the subject was born in the 17th c. I\'m not sure when this piece was created. 17th c +. Piece appears to be all original.

Normal wear/markings from age and use. Gold loss to the frame, nicks, etc., associated with age. Piece is early.

Framed and under glass.

Gold frame.

Hook for hanging.
