DESCRIPTION:
We are pleased to offera composition cloth mama baby doll from the early 1930s. Doll is incised on the back of shoulder plate \"AM DOLL CO.\". Reference attributes to American Doll Company, 1920s, Louisville KY by Bay-less Brothers. This doll measures 18\" tall being a composition shoulder head, short arms with fingers mostly intact, (right hand has had repaint, possibly repairs on the arm, line cracks), see photos. Doll shows scuffs, line crazing, line cracks throughout and \"re-paint\". Not the best re-paint, you may wish to do further restorations. She has a cloth mama doll body with non-working crier in the back. She has a \"sweet\" little face with open and close blue tin sleepy eyes that work fine, painted lashes around the eyes, brown brows and closed painted mouth. Some past repair under the right eyes, line cracks on the face, see photos. She wears dark brown mohair wig that is secure on her head. Wears vintage dress, bonnet, slip, pantaloons and newer replacement shoes.Her dress has \"several\" tiny holes throughout, needs some sewing restoration.Enjoy her AS SHE IS or go for \"restorations\".
