Boston: Benjamin Edes, [1799]. Rare almanac. 24pp. Snow is written in a very old hand next to many winter dates. The remarkable events listed by date include matters related to Benjamin Franklin, George Washington, Boston Port Bill, British Evacuate Camden, General Election - Boston, New Jersey Burnt, Battle of Bennington, Battle of Camden, New York Taken, Stamp Act, Major Andre, John Adams, Boston Tea Party, & more. Also information regarding the Supreme Judicial Court, Roads, &c. Some toning and staining but not too bad overall considering age and ephemeral nature, good laid paper.
