Neat find! Surely a souvenir from a \"Grand Tour\" of the late 1800s. Antique framed photograph from Alcazar of Seville, Spain. A famous moorish palace in Spain. Original period frame with old glass and wood backing. Gesso covered wood frame with gold. Frame has small brass corner mounts. \"looking into the Sultans room from the Court of the Virgins\". Written in pen at the bottom.The frame measures 11\" x 9\". The photograph measures 7.25\" x 4.75\". All in good shape. I have not removed the photo from the frame. Gold frame has some normal darkened spots and may be a little chippy in spots. Brass corners are darkened from age. No damage to the glass. Photo may be a little faded but not too much! Please refer to the photos as they are part of the description. We are a non smoking home.
