This antique gargoyle finial is estimated to be crafted in the late 1800s and is a little over 4.5 x 2 inches. Light amount of rust in some crevices, so cast iron is the assumed material, but that is still just an educated guess. It has a heavy, weighted feel. Standard size screw hole that attaches on to both old and new lamps (tested on each). Would fit best on a larger lamp, since it measures just over 4.5 inches tall and barely over 2 inches wide. Each face of the gargoyle is unique and just slightly different from the other. A torch is in the middle between them.
