Wonderful OLD ancient German Black Forest Cookoo Cuckoo style clock that chimes from a music box. This is the OLD style from the 1800s with wooden hand made and hand painted glass face.
The music chimer is a wheel that plucks the pins, like a music box.
The back wooden panel has artists signature and a manufacturer name but label is mostly gone. I can make out \"GEBR???HS, No 20?\" The word \"AIR\" also is on top. I think the date on it reads 1849 but not sure.
Bought in Belgiumfrom a old antiquedealer who\'s father was a clock maker.I have more to sell in the future to includecomplete ones and other project and parts. All must go.
