For your consideration...A Rare 1800\'s Georgian Jelly Opal & Sapphire 12kt rose gold, halo flower ring. The oval opal is approx. 8x6mm. There are 12 European old mine cushion cut (approx.) 2mm sapphires framing the opal in a halo, floral style. There should be 14 but 2 are missing. This does not take away from the beauty of this more than 200 year old ring! The inside of the shank is stamped with the maker\'s mark (see photos). It is not stamped for gold content but it was tested by my jeweler. It weighs 2.5 grams and is a ring size 6 3/4. This will make a special gift for any lover of antique, and vintage jewelry. This is a TRUE antique not a reproduction.This is a special piece for any antique or vintage jewelry lover it. This also works nicely as a right hand gemstone ring especially if you\'re a September baby or have one like me! The ring was cleaned and polished by my jeweler. As with any pre-owned jewelry, especially antique and vintagre pieces, there will be normal wear like light scratches.
