With a cutting to the front free endpaper of volume I reading: \'Reeves\' edition, with short explanatory notes, selected with great judgment from the labours of Patrick, Lowth, Whitby, and others. The historical parts are printed in contiguous paragraphs, and the poetical parts are divided into verses, with the chapter and verse pointed out in the margin - Horne\'.

CONDITION

In full calf bindings. Externally, rubbing to the extremities and a few marks to the boards. Loss to the backstrip of volume I,which iscoming away. Several joints starting but firm, and three joints cracked but holding reasonably firm. Internally, firmly bound. Some foxing to the first and last few pages but otherwise generally clean with just some scattered spots. Ink signature to first blank of volume IX. Overall: GOOD.
