2 volumes in one with separate title pages, but single pagination. The first volume in the book is the second volume of a history of the AmericanRevolution by Lendrum. The second volume is a biographyof George Washington.This volume lacks volume one of the work by John Lendrum (which was published in 1795).

The history of the Revolution is illustrated with a fold-out map of the UnitedStates. The bio. of G.W. is illustrated with an engraved frontispieceportrait of George Washington.

The book measures7 1/2 X 4 1/2inches; (12mo); hardcover; leather; full calf on boards with gilt stamped bands on spine & guilt stamped letters on red leather spine label; fine vertical surfacecracks on spine cover; leather scuffed, worn, rubbed & scratched; 3\" cut to surface on rear cover; edges well worn; corners bumped; previous owner\'s name in ink inside front board; fold-out map has tears, small losses, and numerous extra folds & creases; age toning, small stains, and foxing spots throughout entire contents; ink scribbles & small tears on front end-paper; bends in tips of a few corners; text block tight; 371 pages.
