RARE ORIGINAL FRENCH NAPOLEONIC MEDAL
The successes of the French, during the Russian campaign, were ordered by the government of France, to be farther perpetuated by this medal, which is allegorically meant for the conquest of Russia, having taken possession of Moscow, and erected the eagle-standard of France on the banks of the Wolga.
