This antique spoon has 5 hallmark stamps on the back which translate to a 1816 sterling silver spoon made by John Lambe in London with appropriate duty mark. The bowl of the spoon features an embossed design of fruit and leaves, probably added in the Victorian period. The handle has engraved ornate decoration but really need to be seen to be appreciated. Please view the pictures of this spoon as they should confirm the listing and add to the overall description. What it doesn\'t show is the hand pounded repousse work done by this famous silversmith.
