On offer today is a really nice hallmarked silver dinner Fork.

The pattern is most attractive and is Hourglass double struck. It has an union heel.

Thispiece is unengraved and always has been, definitely no erasures either.

Here we have aquite exceptionaland quite lovelysilverfork of very goodgauge and weight.Hallmarksaredeep and clear.

Itsweight is a hefty 110 grams (3.54 troy ounces).

Aquite splendid large fork.

In excellent condition with light tine wear commensurate with age and use.

The length is 8.125 inches.

Assayed in London,1817-yearletter b.

Makers are the silversmiths Josiah and George Piercy.

Definitely one for the collectors!
