David Hume was a Scottish advocate, judge and legal scholar whose works on Scots criminal law and Scots private law has had a deep and continuing influence. During his lifetime he never published his lectures on Scots private law however manuscript copies werewidely circulated and occasionally even cited in court.

CONDITION

In ahalf calf binding. Externally, smart with some rubbing. Joints cracked. Wear to spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright with some scattered spotting and age toning to page edges. Overall: GOOD
