CONDITION

Recently re-bound in a brown buckram binding with contrasting label on the spine. Externally, very smart with some minor shelfwear only. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages browned with some spottingthroughout. Ink inscription on title-pagestating ‘Saml Crompton’ and on verso ‘For the Cathedral Library, Manchester from Saml Crompton 1879’. David Arthur Pailin bookplate to the front pastedown, with ink inscription dated 1986. Overall: VERY GOOD.
