Tall Case Clock 1840 c. Clock is signed M. Walker. Clock is American made in Bolton Mass. Although the Clock looks English made it is actually an American made Clock. M. Bolton whose name appears on the face of this clock was a cabinetmaker who came from England to Willard Clock Company in Mass. This clock built by Walker has beautiful stain wood inlaid patterns; the style of this clock is George III, clock strikes on the hour, the clock is two can leaded weights. Clock has a 14” painted arch dial with rolling moon phases silvered chapter ring and second dial. In a superb figured mahogany and inlaid veneer case. Free stranding reeded columns on each side of a truck swan neck hood with brass finials. Height of the clock is 94” tall 23´width.
