This is a lovely lot of this heavy old pattern. These are in great shape, there is minor plate loss on the knives, and one knife has a dark spot on the blade that shows up in the picture... the forks have slight plate loss/color change where they rest, but not on the tines themselves. These all show signs of being used, but I would call all of them table worthy, except for the one knife with the dark spot on both sides of the blade- I\'ve taken close ups of the backs of the forks so you can see the plate loss. These are hard to find, very heavy pieces in a gorgeous pattern. Forks measure 7 3/4 inches long, and the knives are slightly over 9 1/2 inches long. The knife blades say 1847 Robers bros then have a little symbol in a circle. The forks say 1847 Rogers bros, then it looks like the number 12 followed by the circle with the symbol.
