Bohns Standard Library, 2 volumes published 1848 & 1849 1st edition. The first volume is autobiography which is concluded in the second volume. Also in the second volume is letters from Switzerland and travels in Italy. HB, 12cm x 19cm, 520pp & 544pp. Both books are in remarkable condition for their age with very little wear or rubbing, no splitting or damage and internally tight and clean, free form writing, and soiling, there is only a very small amount of foxing.I have taken the time to take many detailed photos of the books (which is the actual books for sale) showing both contents and condition.
