Antique Red & Colorless Glass Cologne Bottlewith complex cut designDating to 1850\'s a true antique.This is a interesting bottle with its many deep & protruding cut designs.This bottle is a cased glass bottle, Clear cut to red.Heavy weighing 15 oz.Stands 6.5 inches tallA layer of red was used to case the insideThe neck is proof of this because when the throat of thebottle was polished to fit the stopper the red was taken awayback to clear glass.Red in the first layer and clear on the outer.The condition is good with some chip and nick issues....see things to point out below for details.The bottle is also very clean.....The top (stopper) is molded glass with a cut 6 panel narrow neck and ground stopper end.This bottle has 6 panels with alternating cut designs on a protruding 6 sided design.designs are straburst & diamond .in a hexagon shape.Below this is the protruding skirt area base with even more protruding hexagonswith the alternating cut designs around the skirt and they alsoalternate with the upper hexagon designs as well.Then between the hexagons there are 3 virtical bars with the center bar protruding the most.Then the bottom of the bottle is deeply cut with triangle / pyramid shaped 3d protruding shapes.in the center of more triangle deeply cut and protruding shapes.Note :every center pyramid shape has the end chipped.Things to point out:There are some tiny nicks...1. 1 tiny nick to the mouth polished end.2. a couple of nicks to the panels edge on the main body.There are some very tiny chips to the a few vertical bars on the skirtThe bottom has chips on the pyramid shapes.There may be some nicks or a very small chip on the hexagon designsI am not locating any...but some much going one with this bottleI am sure to miss some.The top has some roughness on the ground end that goes into the bottle.So this bottle is being sold as is....This is a very unique bottle and the red bottles are a little moreharder to find because the where harder to make and madeless of the red.As with all of my items, this item is FINAL SALE, AS IS, and is NON-RETURNABLE, NON-EXCHANGEABLE, and NON-REFUNDABLE.
