We recently bought much of the stock of Dr. Jack Ott, a mid-Atlantic dealer who passed away. There are tens of thousands of covers and postal history items and we are listing it bit by bit. Most of this material we will be starting at 99c or close thereto and there will be many terrific bargains. Please check our listings closely. Any material that does not sell gets listed on our HipStamp account under StagsheadCovers.

We have also opened a new store to sell First Day Covers and world material under StagsheadCovers. We are keeping this store for older material and postal history and stamps.

We are two retired collectors in West Virginia who buy large collections to get material for ourselves and we sell the rest.

We combine shipping and do our best to calculate it accurately. We try to charge actual cost plus $0.75 and then 25c (US) a cover, which covers the cost of letterhead, labels, envelopes and a local young person who comes and pulls and ships the items for us. (Only way we can break even on 99 cent sales)

We are members of the APS and a bunch of other philatelic societies (and if you, are not, suggest you check out the American Philatelic Society as they are great!)

We guarantee your satisfaction. Completely. If for any reason you are not completely and totally satisfied and happy that you made the purchase up to 60 days (or 90 if you want to send something to be expertized!) we will reimburse your entire price and shipping.

NOTES/HINTS TO BUYERS:

Pictures - if you click on the images of the items for sale, they should expand. If you want to look closer, click on the image to expand it, then right click on the image again and select Save As. Save the image to your computer/phone and then you should be able to open it and zoom in with your own photo viewing software. If you would like a better or different image or have questions, please feel free to message us and we will try to oblige.

Sniping software - if you live in another time zone or are unable to offer live at the end of an sale, consider using a sniping service (ie - they will place the offers for you at the last second) that will do the job for you. We use Esnipe personally.

Expertizing - we stand by our material. If you want to send something to be expertized, just let us know so that we save the information as that can sometimes take a while.
