Here\'s a rare beautiful canary yellow flint glass cologne bottle made by the Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. in the 1840-1860s era. The pattern is called Star & Punty and has stars & circles embossed boldly around all 6 sides of the bottle.

Polished pontil bottom....hand flared out ring lip......4 7/8\"tall.....yellow vaseline glass (glows brightly under blacklight)....thick heavy flint glass.....Excellent shiny nice condition with only a tiny nick on very bottom and a small shallow chip on edge of one circle; no other chips or damage. A nice clean cologne bottle with no haze. I have one of these identical Sandwich Glass Star & Punty cologne bottles in my collection that I dug from a Civil War era privy pit, so I guarantee this very rare cologne bottle dates from 1860 or earlier.
