The book (8vo) comes in polished calf bindings with double gilt fillets, marble edges and decorative gilt spine.
Front joint is cracked at the top & bottom in places but the boards are securely held and holding firm, rear joint is very tender, boards are rubbed and darkened mainly around the edges with some scratches and minor marks, shelf wear to the gilt edges and the four corners are chipped. The spine is rubbed, faded and chipped on the head end with a small tear, lacking lettering piece.
Inside:
Minor brown blemishes to the endpapers. The pages are bright with literally just a few small brown blemishes which are to the index pages in the rear. The book is firmly bound and complete and in very good condition inside.
