Here for sale is a wonderful piece of a hand-written letter signed and dated Oct. 16, 1855and an engravingof this letter writer, David Ermentrout.

According tohis obituary, which published on Reading Times May 8, 1901, \"David Ermentrout, aged 82 years,was well known and highly respected residentof Reading, Pennsylvania. He was born in 1819 and moved to Reading when he was 13 and lived here ever since. He engaged in the general merchandise business for over 42 years, first in partnership with his brothers and later he went in business for himself.\"

This letter has two sides written (see pictures).Also,there is a blind seal on the top left.

I bought it from an estate sale in Pennsylvania recently.
