1861 T-8 $50 The Confederate States of America Note.

This was the first $50 issued by the Confederacy that did not bear interest. This note features George Washington at the center printed over a large \"50\". At the lower left is Tellus, the Goddess of the Earth holding a globe with a bird on top. The bird represents the dove sent forth from the Ark of Noah.

This Civil War era note grades Very Fine with some tiny edge tears.
