1862 $2 The Ocoee Bank note from Cleveland, Tennessee, payable in Knoxville.

This scarce emergency Civil War issue from this bank was printed in black and green out of New Orleans. This note has nice paper with a solid printing that still has great embossing as well as bold signatures. Above the bank title is a train Vignette inside an ornate frame. The 1862 Civil War era series only came in either $1 or $2 denominations.

This note grades About Uncirculated with a small mounting spot and a couple missing corner tips.
